I have a package of poppy seeds (Papaver rhoeas) and I'm wondering if they can grow in an Aerogarden. I have read conflicting information, some sources say it's easy to grow in an AG but other say they need to be germinated in the dark for a few weeks.
Has anyone tried to grow poppies? I would love to hear your experience!

cheddachasa, I have never grown these before. What I can say is that my old neighbor from years ago grew these like crazy in her yard. She had a pod and some grew in there too.

We grew the California Poppies in the Fairy mix and they came up. Remember how pretty Mary's were?

YES! Now that you mention it I remember. I guess I forgot since mine were duds.

I did get a lot of the California poppies in that mix. They became very messy but are super pretty when at their peak. I think the California variety would be a good one to stagger because they’re kind of short lived.
