I tried growing some, not in an AG, but had a hard time getting them to sprout and they ultimately got crowded out by the other plants in the garden.
Ultimately, not sure why I'd really want to hurt myself with that.

I know I would not eat them. For me it is more of the experiment. For Mark, well they guys at work also want me to grow them. I send peppers in now and they love that I do.

Ok, I have seeds but I think I hit a road bump.
I have to contact the doctor but it appears that Reapers should not be grown indoors if you have a dog. I do not know if it is for fear they will get the seeds and/or peppers, or if the fumes alone while growing can be toxic.
IF I can not start them indoors, then I will plant them in dirt in a container outside. I would then have to figure out when to start that.
I will place a call into the vet this morning.
PS, I can offer a couple of seeds to one or two people. If interested, PM me, do NOT post here.

As I feared, the vet does not want me growing these inside at all. My dog already has allergies and while not major breathing issues. She gets inverted sneezes.
Anyway to those that plant outside and even in ... When do you think I should plant these in soil outside? mike? MaryL? @cornne? Anyone?

They are too big for the AG. You could start them there, though. About 6 weeks from now.
