Golden Greeks - Ended (with story)

Well, today I finally terminated the Greeks.  They had a long haul.  Started in the Extra in January.  Eventually in July planted in a pot outside.  

This past week Proxy has been at the door to the deck barking up a storm.   Not thinking much about it I would just tell Proxy to quiet.  Yesterday I went out there and found the Greeks laying on their side.  The pot appeared to be pushed over.  I lifted it and there were some missing pepper pieces.  Ok was it the weather or wind?  Could it just have been they were over ripe and were going bad?  I had no clue. I just placed it upright back on the deck and let it be.

This morning I opened the blinds to the door and there I saw it.  I now know what Proxy was barking at.   A squirrel eating the last of the Greeks on the plant.  Do they like peppers?  I guess so.  Of course it was sprinting around the deck.  These peppers have a kick so I wonder it it gave this squirrel zippy powers LOL

Regardless, now I know why I had missing peppers lately.


Here it is from two months ago.   A good pepper and project.  One that will be repeated at some point.
