Nice system.
I've been looking to incorporate some solar panels to keep it relatively self-powered. For pushing water up through drip systems, this would stress plants heavily during the night, but if using an airstone (so the roots have water access day or night, but get extra oxygenation during the day), this actually appeals greatly to me.

I was told that the sprayers in the manifold complete the oxygenation process. I'm going to experiment with using the AeroGarden schedule for watering and lighting first on a few lettuce plants. The pump draws very little and the grow lights are only 45w each. I know they sell solar panels that produce 100w.

Tired some hydro growing last year and apparently didn't buy the right container size/style because when I filled it with water the lid wouldn't go on.
I am sure you will have better luck!

My lid seems to lock well. I know that Home Depot and Lowes carry 10 gal and up totes with lids that are etched to make proper hole saw cuts. Lids work well.

This looks like a beautiful system. I am eager to see how it goes once you get things planted and up and running. I am sure you will learn a ton!
