I put a order in direct to aerogarden on the 17 feb, now 26th and still showing "processing" then they offer normal to express shipping which is a joke if they sit on the order for 10 days+ I know it took for ever to get round to shipping my farm.
Is it just me or are you all having same slowest shipping ever experience!

The two times I have ordered from AG directly I have had the same issue.
Although...for me they did come in the time indicated, just took FOREVER to update my order. In the case of the Ultra I ordered on 2/13, the site updated the day it was delivered (2/22) and I got the email it had shipped a few days later. I chose the standard free shipping (5-10 days). The first time I ordered, I splurged for express shipping-- ordered on a Thursday, came on a Tuesday, but didn't get the email nor did the site update until 2 days after it had arrived.
Oddly, I contacted them last week about non-germinated pods. The site and email both came fairly quickly (although it took them 1.5 days to respond). We will see how long it takes to arrive. Part of me hopes the slower speed is because actual humans are doing the labor, which I like... but it also feels a bit unnerving in this day and age. You are definitely not alone! That being said, I would try to contacting them...or maybe you did and that was the part about they offered express shipping? Based on my (limited) experience. It seems they ship way before you get the notice. I also assume the 5-10 days is business days not calendar days. In any case, if you have not done so already, I would contact them to see. I am just thinking if I ordered 3-4 days before you and my package arrived Thursday, then yesterday would be 4 calendar days and tomorrow would be 4 business days.

Love the aerogarden product, having fun using them and invested a lot so far in systems , pods etc,
So it a real shame to have the experience ruined by poor order processing, I see you can get most items on amazon and they ship same day, living in a city often same day delivery.
Just ordered some sprouting kits from another small company ordered Sunday had tracking Monday afternoon so it can be done.
I have called/ emailed in the past and all you get “its in processing”, how hard is it to take a item out of stock and put a label on it, 10 days so far then 3+ days real shipping.
“buy now for next season!!!”

I totally agree. My first two gardens I ordered from other vendors and got the stuff fast. If I were ordering non-sale items, I would probably order from somewhere else. I can definitely see how it would turn someone off!! Am wondering if other folks have had same issues (which I know is why you posted haha). Other more experienced gardeners might have some more varied experience... Not to defend them, but I know with all the extreme weather mail seems to be slower. For instance, my parents send me a card a few weeks back-- normally would take 2-3 days took 10. Very odd. But they should still update your order and not say "processing..." for 9 days

I think it also depends on what you are getting. Do they have the units in stock? Are they being shipped from the manufacturer and are the supplies located in the same state or area as the Main Office?

Hi Shawn,
Just a few pods and food, etc, basic stuff, all my order have been pitifully slow typically stuck in processing 5-7 days + real shipping, but this is the worst so far.
If I need to buy direct from them will just expect about 2 weeks minimum to receive stuff,
And if not sale item will buy elsewhere for faster shipping.
Shame love the stuff, shipping sucks…

Yeah they can be slow. But I will deal with that for the enjoyment I receive from what I grow in them. If I do purchase anything I know not to expect it fast.

My limited experience is that they are slow to actually ship but once that happens it shows up quick. Then again I am spoiled to Amazon Prime.
Maybe try customer service?

I ordered a Farm and Farm Plus along with a bunch of seed pod kits on Sunday the 3rd and paid extra for express shipping... and my order has been "processing" ever since then. It's been 5 days now. The wait is excruciating. I'm spoiled by super fast Amazon prime shipping, but taking a week (or longer) just for Aerogarden to ship people's orders is really bad. I hope they do something to improve that some day. When I order my next couple Farms, i will seriously considering paying the $100+ higher price on Amazon just to get them within a reasonable amount of time.

I do not think they work on weekends so that does not help matter.

Yes, that is one thing. We are so used to "shipping" being 7 days a week, but for a lot of companies it is business days. So the 3-5 days expedited shipping is business days to process and ship. As I mentioned above, for both my orders, I have had slow times to move from "processing" to "shipped" but they always came right in time. Or, rather I would get the item the same time it says i has been shipped. If you ordered Sunday with expedited I would have called them yesterday and spoken to a representative.

I called Aerogarden yesterday and they told me that my order was actually going to be delivered on Wednesday even though it was still marked as "processing" on the website. The status of my order finally updated to "complete" about an hour ago and i was able to check the tracking number. It shows that my order was shipped on the 8th They did refund me for the extra amount I paid for faster shipping though, since it's clear they didn't actually ship it using the faster shipping speed that I paid for. That's odd. But i'm just happy to know it'll be here on Wednesday.

That's odd. But i'm just happy to know it'll be here on Wednesday. Glad you were able to get to the bottom of it! I know how frustrating/unnerving it feels. In today's world of online shopping I think we have become so accustomed to hyper-transparency (and speed). As I had commented above, my two experiences seemed to be that the shift from processing to complete, the tracking number, and the package arriving all seemed to happen on the same day or within a day. I am glad AG (rightly) refunded your shipping costs. I think one thing that would be helpful is if they specified what the 3-5 day expedited shipping (or however many days it is) means. As a customer, I think we assume that means if I order it today, I will get it in 3-5 days. But I have a feeling there is some time factored into process that maybe they do not count? Especially if this occurs on a weekend. Ultimately, I am glad things are on their way, even if it is (much) later than you expected.
