Hi there, I'm new here, just bought a farm plus. From what I've read about tomatoes it does not seem like a good idea to have 12 plants together in a farm but the seed pack specifically says to plant all 12 with the Salad Bar Kit. Any ideas Thoughts on this?

Hello and welcome!
I do not own a Farm. But looking at what others are growing here that do own farms, I would not plant more then three Tomatoes. In a Bounty or Ultra you would only plant two tops. If you look thru different members gardens you will find some members have 12 planted and it gets very crowded and dense. While I know they say you can, that does not always mean it is practical.
As for the salads, I would say y es to plant all of them. I use all the holes in my Bounty or Ultra.
These are just my opinions on what I have seen here. Please wait for others that do own Farms to chime in.,
Again Welcome, and please post any questions you may have. Also we would love to see your setup and gardens as they grow.

AeroGarden has totally changed their tune when it comes to their tomatoes by now giving you enough pods to match your machine. They used to give you two pods and five spacers if you were buying a seven pod pack, now they give you seven pods.
I wonder if they now believe you can grow more than two tomato plants in a Bounty at one time or were so many people complaining about receiving fewer pods than ordered (they weren’t paying attention to the description)?

If you want to see what it looks like with all 12 salads and 12 tomatoes, check out my garden patch. I'm at 40 days. I planted all 12 tomatoes and regret it.
