Hello! I posted this on reddit but I'm getting back into using my aerogarden and found that while in storage it has this weird green tint to the lid now. I haven't put it in the dishwasher and it hasn't been near a window with sunlight. I'm using the original Sprout CFL aerogarden in black.   |

I've seen white plastic "age" that way after long periods of time. I'm wondering if something was off in the manufacturing process for your deck and the lights are affecting it. I'd contact AeroGarden support via email and send them photos. I suspect they'll send a new one.

First Welcome to the forum rango1
Older plastics tend to yellow some from what I have seen. It will not do any harm to your plants.
There are members that have placed their decks in the dishwasher and it has yellowed. Is that why you mentioned the dishwasher? I think maybe the heating unit in the dishwasher does yellow it.
Also being it is an older unit, maybe it is the type of material used or process as Nick had mentioned.
