On Friday the 12th I planted a bunch of tomato and pepper seeds in jiffy peat pots. Almost none were new seeds so I didn’t know what to expect. In fact, one type, the Madame Marmande, were from seed I saved from my harvest last year and fermented versus store bought. I could not find the Madame Marmande this year so am really glad I saved those seeds.
A week later, Friday the 19th, all my tomatoes (but no peppers) have sprouted, and sprouted well!
