I started too soon not appreciating how quickly hydro seed starting would happen. So, I have some huge toms that may not survive the move. I started all sorts of toms, cuc, egg plant, zuc, spinach, and peppers.

Look at all those wonderful plants.
I guess having only grown thru aerogardens I do not know the learning curve there must be for outdoor gardening. Especially timing.
You will have one beautiful garden when they are all planted.

Nice stuff!. Not to worry..the garden centers warehouses and sheds have tom plants with buds already just waiting until around Mem Day for sales. About 3 more weeks and they will be happy and in your garden and you will have some earlier fruit! even better if they are indeterminate and last through the whole summer! I like.

My goodness, you do have an array of plants! That is so exciting! If it were me I would get stressed because I don’t have enough experience of the timing and how to keep them thriving in the meantime. But you have a lot of lovely light in your house which is helpful. I can’t wait to see them all transplanted!

We topped the boxes and put up the trellis. Cucumbers and cherry tomatoes will grow up that, which frees up space. I have plans to give a lot of the plants to friends as so many more grew than I thought would. Right now they are under a grow light and I carry them out in the morning and bring them all back in at night. Hopefully we can get them in the ground Sunday. We are lucky to have a yard with sun. I like my aerogarden, but I love our outdoor gardens.

Lovely! I bet they were anxious to get into the ground. I wish I had started mine early. Here there was NO SUN and cool damp weather. The 55-60 degrees are just kickin' in and I start my seedlings on the 'sun-(this-year-sunless) porch. But they are finally doing something and in 2 weeks will be going into the ground. Next year I will ignore the delay and go ahead and start in mid March as I usually do. Ditto Shawn...Keep us posted!

1 month later. The rabbits ate my green beans to nubs. Sad .. otherwise, things are going well. Not much harvested yet, but lots of growth and flowers now. The cucumbers and cherry tomatoes are training well to the trellis. I am trying to grow potatoes in a laundry basket and won't know the yield for a while. Also, trying zucchini in cages to grow upright.

I am sorry about the rabbits eating your beans. Can you put vaging around them?
Nice looking squash.
