Been kinda mia for awhile, but still been growing alot. Im currently at day 72 with my first attempt at anaheim pepper in a bounty. It had a bok choy roommate but i axed that a couple days ago. I have 4 good peppers around 4 inches long. Probably another 3-4 that are just over 2 inches. I decided that due to it being very crowded on top I would take some yarn and lightly tie some branches outward a bit. Old trick from past growing endeavors. I've been noticing lately that my petals will wilt and come off but there isnt a tiny pepper there excitedly growing outwards. Not sure if its due to the bok choy having shared space or if its lacking in nutes. I am a busy bee every day tending to each flower.

That’s a good looking plant! I think it’s normal for a certain amount of flowers to not produce. You’ve got a good amount of fruit going. Nice job!

Hubby picked the first grown pepper. Thought it needed longer in the first few bites. Then he got to the top and it got hot on him lol. What a bummer not all flowers produce. Logical sounding. Just a bummer. Just got my delivery of the mucha stash gonna add it according to mikes advice in the other pepper nute post. Local hydro store sold us this 3 bottle set of nutes with very confusing instructions, which i didnt notice them help the tomato plant last grow. so despite the high cost of that im gonna shelf those and try the mucha stash this time.

Im noticing most of my flowers are falling off now. Sometimes wilted ones and some still white. Older leaves on bottom half of plant have yellow tips, but all the newer top leaves look good. Im on day 77. Any thoughts?

I always have some new or old flowers fall off. It can be from not enough circulation. Try placing a fan to circulate some air. Another cause can be lack or poor pollination.

Today is nute day. Did a R&R, 12 ml ag nutes and 5ml mucha. This is my second week of adding the mucha. I noticed I'm starting to get some spotting on top newer leaves. Am I correct that this is calcium deficiency? Its probably on about ten leaves currently.

I have had that and just cut them off. I make sure the nutes are in. Check out this this thread for the deficiency guide,

This plant is still going! 106 days in. It keeps stretching upwards, still lifting the light every few days. Just got 2 new peppers on it. Most of the flowers are still dropping but if I take it at a.g.'s customer service reps word, only 25% will turn to peppers anyway. Made hubby a cheddar anaheim soup with a bunch but theres still 8 hanging out ready to eat.

Day 144! Ive said twice I was gonna end this plant and it keeps giving peppers (hubby loves em) so I just let it keep going. It currently has 7 of various sizes, after just picking 3 off a few days ago for a jalepeno popper soup.

Well it went over 160 days. Found a little spider in there with webs a week ago so hubby had to take it out. Transplanted into soil but its not doing very well still.

Was it transplanted recently? I know they do go thru a short shock period.

I transplanted like almost 2 wk ago. Gotta say I'm pretty indifferent because the other option was to cut it down.

This plant struggled outside most of the summer but still looked alive so i brought it inside last week. I cannot believe it made it this long. It has probably 8 peppers growing on it currently! That is if the cat leaves it alone. 😝
