Anyone grow the Thumbelina Mix Zinnias? These are said to grow only 6" tall.
Here is their description:
The compact dome-shaped plants start to bloom when only 3" tall.
All-America Selections winner! Semi-double and single 1 1/4" flowers are excellent for pots, low beds and edging from mid-summer to frost. GARDEN HINTS: Water the soil freely during dry weather, avoid overhead watering. For earlier bloom, seeds may be started indoors 5-7 weeks before outdoor planting time. Cultivate or mulch to control weeds.

On one of the older forums a guy grew some in what I recall was a Classic 7 with CFL bulbs and they grew unbelieveably into the lights. I think it was from the low cfl lighting. I think they would be good in the LED now, though. The colors were lovely!I would give these a try any day.
Mary or Mike may recall as well.

The thumbs I purchased from Swallowtail Gardens were over 2 foot when they bloomed. Not at all what the description said.
