I started a new flower for the Harvest that sits on my desk.
Name: Iceplant Livingstone Daisy Vendor: Botanical Interests Machine: Harvest Elite Seeds: 2 per pod
Description: 1½" flowers in neon shades make a pretty carpet of color with dense, spreading, succulent foliage. Native to South Africa, annual iceplant thrives in hot, dry environments and puts on a show when the sun shines. Sow along borders, between pavers, as a groundcover, in rock gardens, or containers. Attracts bees and other pollinators. Fun to scatter here and there like wildflower seed for dashes of color throughout the garden! 4" - 8" tall.

No picture today but these had a tiny growth spurt. Maybe because I have a fan oscillating in the room

Here they are this morning. And if you look at the close up shot you can see that the leaves have a shimmer to them. Like "ice" on them.

Gave nutes this morning. They are really picking up speed with their growth. I love the "icy" look of the leaves.

They are slow. Took 9 days to see something I think. But once they do, you can see how they grow And in an Ultra they may grow faster.

Five days of growth. After this picture was taken I moved some around to even the heights out.

I think I am going to transplant these outside later today. I have tons of succulent greens but can not tell if there are buds. SO I will place them in pots hanging from my deck and keep my fingers crossed.
I will update later what I decide.

I may transplant mine as well in an outside pot. Found this today: "Livingstone Daisy - Grow in well-drained, preferably low-fertility, sandy soil in full sun.". In other words, they do not like water, love the scorching sun and don;t like to be fed. It is a 'leave me alone and I will grow' plant. Mine go outside today.

Mine are too. Damn shame. I was looking forward to these but I will replant with another flower I have in my stock.
