Sorry if this question is dumb or have already been answered. Im new to this forum and i made a search but found no answer (if i did search the right way..) and i am also quite new to AG gardening. I had some success with herbs and lettuce but after reading you, i want to try more variety of veggies . Only, i never know how many seeds to put in each pod. My next 6 pods try will be : 1- Breen red romaine lettuce ( 1seed) 2- Arugula ( ? Seed) 3- Bright lights chard ( 1 seed but since its consist of a cluster of seeds, like beets. Should i thin it to one shout once it germinate?) 4- Bok choi Purple Lady ( 1 seed i guess) 5- Mizuna Beni houshi ( ? Seed) 6- Tom thumb lettuce (1 Seed) i hope you can help with how many seed to use . And any other comments or advises will be appreciated lol thanks

I only grow Romaine and I use 2-3 seeds (mostly 2) but someone that grows the other may help. I know with the Romaine, I never thinned.

I do 2-3 as well and always to thin to one plant. That's a personal preference though- many people don't thin their lettuces and get great crops. With larger plants, I would thin to 1 plant for sure.

Another one here who never thinned lettuce. For loose leaf I do 4-5 seeds , and for Romaine(have some going in the Harvest now) I do 2-3.
