Hi - new forum member here, looking for some help.
I posted this question on Reddit and had a PM from someone advising I post it here too:
https://www.reddit.com/r/aerogarden/comments/btqpqx/aerogarden_led_voltages/
Long story short, last year we moved out of our house to live in an RV and travel around the US visiting National Parks. In the RV we don't have AC power available all the time, so we chose to put our two AeroGardens (AeroGarden Ultra LED and AeroGarden Sprout LED) into storage.
But we really miss them - or more specifically, we miss fresh herbs!
So I'm interested in what it would take to convert the AeroGarden to run off DC power. I know what I'm doing with electricity (we've rewired most of our RV) and am happy to build an Arduino / Raspberry Pi system to replace the timer logic, etc if necessary. What I really want to keep is the clean, sleek appearance of the AeroGarden.
If anyone can help, what I'd really like to know are the voltages (and whether AC or DC) for the pump and LEDs in the AeroGarden Ultra LED and AeroGarden Sprout LED. From my research online, it looks like there maybe be an AC-DC converter to drive the LEDs in the hood - if so, I'd love to know the input and output voltages on that.
We're over 1,000 miles away from our storage unit and won't be visiting until late this year, else I'd check myself. If I don't think I can reasonably modify one of the AeroGardens to run off 12VDC, I'll probably pick up one of the new Harvest models, since they do run on 12VDC.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum! I have no idea about volts or anything like it. I do not have a Sprout, but here is a picture of the pump and the bottom of the Ultra Unit. No info on the hood itself. Hope this helps some.

Thanks, Shawn! That confirms what I suspected about the pump, and the label on bottom of the Ultra just confirms that the overall AeroGarden runs off 120VAC. Hopefully someone can put a multimeter across some terminals in the LED hood and help me out with those numbers!
