Can anyone tell me why a few of my tomatoes turned brown on their bottom side and have fallen off of the vine???

Most likely you refer to blossom end rot. It comes from the calcium being out of whack. Perhaps if you were to use the appropriate AG nutrients w/o adding calcium supplements ?! Unfortunately, those toms will not get better. One thing I learned early on regarding any kind of nutrients and supplements:"More is not better".

Totally forgot to update the tomatoes last Tuesday so here ya go. Day 63 if I'm not mistaken.
Yellow toms on the left, mini red toms on the right.
These yellow toms are looking gooooood! They are growing nicely and I see new sprouting too.
The mini red toms seem to have come to a standstill. I haven't noticed any 'activity' in a week or so. The plant is loaded with little green tomatoes but nothing is turning red as of yet.

A week ago, day 70. I'm a little behind, sorry.
Yellow tomatoes first;
OK, the red toms next;
with the bad yellow leaves;
It's taking forever for these things to ripen, sheesh!

Last week, day 77, on Tuesday.
Yellow first;
Still taking forever to ripen although I did pluck the largest yellow tomato the other day. Very mild! Not the acidity a red tom has at all. Very very good. I like these tomatoes.

Gotta another update here. I just found my pix from last Tuesday the 20th. I believe this is week 77 and not the above post.
Now I'm all caught up...

My experience (only experience), they took forever to ripen, but once they get going it goes fairly fast. Looking good. I think got 2 -3 rounds of growth on mine, so I think you will have bountiful harvests for a while!

I thought I'd try something. I 'pulled a Shawn.' LOL While growing her 'carrots' she pruned back most of the leaves leaving the plant rather bare. This I did as well leaving the plant rather bare and showing all of the little red tomatoes. Maybe pruning all of those ugly yellow leaves off it might help the plant to prosper a bit better. We'll see...

pulled a Shawn Let's just hope I did not steer you in the wrong direction ....
I have actually done that numerous times. FOr me I would say that the majority of the time I received a lot of new growth. But there is that percentage that while the peppers still grew the new growth was not as expected.
I am sure they will do fine

Tomatoes are on day 84 and I did an R&R for all machines today. Here's the results of 'My Shawn' I pulled the other day. LOL
My yellow toms are growing well and I've already lost two of them to rot. I've been waiting for them to grow into a normal sized cherry tomato but these seem to be grape size toms instead.
Enjoy!

Somehow there is a satisfaction when one bites into their first AG grown edible that can't be understood by those who do not have a hydro machine or AG.

Agreed!
OK, day 91 for the yellow tomatoes. I have bunches of toms on this plant. There everywhere there everywhere.

when he was in his 80's my dad got a few AG machines and grew the Heirlooms. One day he was badmouthing the plants and complaining that they never grew anything. Then he had to chuckle when I reminded him that every time he walked by he would pick the ripe ones and pop them into his mouth!

Like Mark. Where are all the peppers, he asks. I say you keep eating them LOL.
