Planted 2 AG Red Fire pepper pods in the right unit of a Farm Plus. Starting with AG nutes.
Also planted a single Purple Super Hot pod with these, but I'd been trying to get those to sprout since the early spring without any luck. Not expecting anything from this one but it was the last Purple Super Hot I had so I figured I may as well try it. Need to contact AG support about those.

As expected the Purple Super Hots did not sprout. That’s 0/4 successes with those pods. Will write AG customer support about them. Meanwhile the Red Fire pods are on their way. One is slowly raising its head, but it’s moving.

These peppers are much slower than their neighbors but they’re growing. On a related note: After reporting that the Purple Super Hots from this AG chili kit didn’t sprout, AG is shipping replacements. I doubt I’ll put them in with these by the time they get here but maybe.

It’s funny to me how two plants planted on the same day can vary so much, but they both seem happy. A shot from two weeks ago: And another from today:

When I grew these, they were slow in blossoming, but once they FINALLY got started, the plant was covered in fruit right up until the day I terminated it. I thought these things would set some fruit and be done, but they never slowed down.
I spent a fair amount of time chasing down the specific breed: Numex Twilight. Mostly an ornamental (and they are pretty indeed), but they're also plenty hot.

Well these things turned into BUSHES. I’ve trimmed them back so much and so many times. It was hard to even get my hands in there sometimes. Right now lots of purple peppers have shown themselves. I assume they’ll eventually be red. Plants are on the right in this photo:

Yes they will. I had a few in the beginning when I first started that actually looked back before turning red.

I terminated these months ago because I found them FAR too messy to keep up with. They were dense and produced a ton of pollen. Happy plants for sure, but I must have cleaned up thousands of flowers. Also they just weren't tasty.
