Today I began a new garden for the kitchen. I still may move things around and/or add a pod or two but for now this is it. EDITED: Removed layout, see below for new one

If I look down in the pods I can see the Basil and Thyme showing some green. Nothing in the other two yet.

The Oregano is going strong. I will get a picture of that later. The Rosemary not so much. I have to try another vendor seed.

I am not thrilled with Swallowtail Oregano. I find that it wants to flower way too early. I am going to replant with my Burpee which I find flourishes and I get a LOT before going to seed.
I will also be harvesting the Thyme. I have so much that I have plenty for Thanksgiving.
So later I will clean out the unit and plant new. Stay tuned for what I select.

My machine has been cleaned and as of this moment I only have the rosemary seeds in one pod. Later I will be planting more. I just have to figure out what. But I must first. I have had a busy week so far and I also have errands.

Here is the NEW layout Emerald Towers is a new Basil I am trying. Here is the description Beautiful columnar habit ideal for any garden- patio pots, in raised beds, small space and hydroponics. Well-branched, dark-green variety makes a beautiful, towering plant with huge harvest potential. Beautiful columnar habit is ideal for any garden—patio pots, raised beds, small space landscapes and hydroponics. Huge harvests of sweetly flavored leaves for fresh eating or chopped in salads and recipes.

Mark tasted the Emerald Basil. It is a straight up sweet basil. No lemon, pepper or anise flavoring. Anyone interested in a regular good basil I suggest trying this one.

I have not updated this one in a while. I often snip at it to use.

The basil on the left looks like a tree. So pretty!

There are two basils. The back left is Emerald and the front left is dwarf greek basil.
