Hi. I just my AG Farm XL and I have 12 Romain growing that are 33 days old. I've kept a close eye on them but the tips of the leaves looks like they are burnt and some are yellow. I've kept the light 5 inches above the plants the entire time. What am I doing wrong? All tips welcome! Attachment Deleted

I would like to ask a few questions...
* How much nutrients are you giving it? Lettuce usually needs less then what is recommended.
* Is the water in the tank/bowl warm or hot? Add ice cubes to the water. Lettuce loves cold water.
* Have you harvested any? If so what did you use to harvest? If using a knife or scissor, they can tend to brown the leaves. Better to use a plastic knife or hands to tear.
Try lifting the lights higher. It can be nutrient burn or the lights may bee too low. I have never grown lettuce in a Farm. However if you take a look at this thread, they do talk about this issue. I know there are other threads as well that talk about this as well. (I will need to take a look for them).
Please keep us posted and any Lettuce Growers here may also give their input as well.

I used the same amount of nutrients it called for in the manual.
The water was room temperature water. 20 degrees C.
I harvested some just before I took this picture. That was my first harvest. I tore the leaves off.
Thanks for you help.
