Hi all,
Thought I'd plant some seed I bought months and months and months ago, back in June. I've kept them in the fridge till now so we'll see.
Two seeds per pod with a total of two pods. (4 seeds) Added 6 mils of AG nutes with cold tap water all in my new Harvest.
It's the two pods in the far back corners. My ButterCrunch was trans planted again into this new Harvest too although, it may be time to terminate. It's had 3 harvests so far but the root ball is still quite small.
See ya in about a week.

I have to chuckle every time I see a grower fit nicely into their 'groove'. I do declare yours is tomatoes as a favorite..am I right? Mine is Flowers.

If I would get off my lazy butt I would grow stuff pertaining to my favorite cuisine, Asian, Chinese. Also Mexican but, I've gotten too laid back in my new apartment.
I do like tomatoes, lettuces for salads and strawberries which I'll try again come payday on the 3rd. I'm a bit scrapped right now. Because of my move my food stamps have been cut from $86 down to $32 so I'm really short in all respects.
I know you like flowers, I've seen some of your posts. Very very beautiful. My favorite flowers are yellow carnations and a colorful coleus.

If you like carnations, they do not do well at all in the AG, BUT...the dianthus is in the carnation family and you could find some yellow ones, I am sure! Yellow Harmony(knapii) would grow in the AG.
AG-ing is tough on a limited fixed budget, but there is always a way around. Put out a shout for seeds...members are always willing to share because there are only a few pods to use and a packet has many which are viable for only a few years. I have several varieties of the dwarf toms I am growing I can freely share. Just pm me
A quart of nutrients is so much worth the investment rather than buying those little bottles for 10 bucks each plus shipping. Sponges can be found for half the price.(adding a thread for one I use) I have fun finding substitutes.... Frugal Fannie is a perfect alias.

I've never heard of a dianthus before. A Google search netted one of the most beautiful flowers I ever saw, very much like a carnation. Unfortunately I'm into growing food but will keep this flower in mind.
At the present, I have plenty of plant food and sponges and plastic domes and pods but will keep all this in mind.
Thanks, Corinne,

I see itty bitty teeny weeny green tops starting to pop their little heads up. I may have some Tiny Tims in the near future. My camcorder is so poor/old that I couldn't possibly take pictures yet but I will as soon as they're more noticeable.

OK, day 7 and we have growth. These Tiny Tim Tomatoes just might make it. By the end of this week or so I should be able to remove those clear heat domes. I usually wait until the plant touches the top. That seem to work for me. It appears that both seeds have taken root in this top photo. I hate to do it but I'll have to pick the most healthiest one and kill the other. Looks like the one on the right is the healthiest so far, look at that thick stalk already!

And, Sunday the heat domes came off and we now have little baby plants. I'm really lookin' forward the this variety in an AG.

We're now two weeks into this project and everything seems to be going well. Added nutes today and am contemplating moving the other, yellow tomato plant, over into this Harvest machine. I really like this unit. Things seem to grow quite well in it. Better then the little Sprouts.
Catch ya in about a week.
