I am getting a black screen when trying to post here, very frequently. It reads "The Connection Was Reset". I have to click "Try Again" multiple times before it posts.

Also are you logging in from home or work?

My inclination is that this is an internet or device issue- either your router or device is blocking the website for some reason and needs a flush. If you clear your cache and cookies it'll likely resolve.

Let me know if that helps if you decide to try.

It didn't work. I get similar results from two different browsers. Maybe it's Norton Security.

I have Norton..no problem. Are you on a Laptop? I find that if I dump my cache and then press the 'antenna tower" icon and then press it again after a few seconds things reset and it acts 'normal'. ALSO...if you have planes flying overhead like me (Logan) the planes flying nearby can make that happen. Happens to me all the time with Comcast.

Anti-virus can definitely block websites. Windows Defender (Window's built-in firewall) can block as well.

Mike, do you use a VPN? I use VPNExpress and I sometimes need to change my server location.

No, I don't use a VPN, But I'm considering it.
I don't have a problem getting to this site. It's only when I try to log in or post. I sometimes have to hit enter 20 times or more for it to go through. I've cleared cookies, cash and everything else. I don't have problems any where else.

Nothing has changed on my end. Please try another browser, maybe disable the firewall and try and reenable, same with antivirus programs.

I know it's not your site. But it's driving me crazy. I've tried disabling about everything. But it doesn't seem to help.
I'm going to ask an IT friend if she has any suggestions. I do not have the problem on my phone. But I have the issue across multiple browsers on my desktop.

Mike, are you running an ad blocker? I can't post on blogs unless I disable mine. And sometimes it causes other weird problems on some sites.

Have you tried it in Incognito mode to see if it works?
