OK, I cheated a little. I didn't want the AG sitting empty all weekend at work. So I planted the Cascading Petunias before I left work, yesterday.
I forgot how the frequency of the lights really screws with my cell phone camera. It's like looking at the subject through blinds. I'll have to take my good camera to work to take photos of this garden.
I finally have a garden growing again.

I'm not really happy with these plants. All 9 pods have plants, but while most are at label level, others aren't. And I'm seeing yellowing on some leaves. I rotated the pods. I gave them two caps nutes on Friday. Monday I added water. These seem very slow.

I would definitely call and ask for some replacements, Mike. They shouldnt be doing poorly if other pods are doing well, and all from the same kit.

No No No! Please do not end it! I see about 3 pods that are questionable ,but the others may just fill in the spaces. These flowers are big blooms and they cascade. i would definitely call and ask for 3 replacements.
If, however, you want a faster petunia project, get the Love Blooms. I had only 1 pod in a Sprout and it outgrew the Little Sprout..the project is in a thread. But I would definitely stick with this one which does have promise, Mike.

I hate talking to AG on the phone. They try to talk to you like you don't know what you are doing. "What type of water do you use?" I told them I use bottled spring water that I run through a Brita water filter. They said "You want to use distilled." Bull! If I use distilled, I get pH readings under 5.
They are sending me replacements, but I don't think I'll use kit seeds any more.

I am glad you are getting the replacements. Why do I have the feeling that your decision not to buy kits anymore was greatly influenced by the way you were treated on the phone?! (I swear some of the CS Reps never grew an AG project, but get their info from a notebook in the cubicle and are only well versed in simple tips..)

I wrote to my contact there and expressed my dislike of their newer reps and how they really do not know what they are talking about (ie the old seed starters, how to grow plants etc). I was told they had several people who are temps. The one I spoke to was one and most likely the ones oyu @ cornne and mike spoke to. They will be working the rest of this week and next. They the regular oldies will be answering. |

I was going to call them with my question about pump cycles. I think the answer I found on Reddit was wrong for herbs.

I received the replacement pods today. I will take them to work tomorrow. I noticed the garden is due for another feeding, too.
