I just gave them another leaf trim, and used thin bamboo sticks to stake them, finally. With more big leaves gone you can see all the beans better. Darned if I didn’t remember to take a picture, lol. I haven’t harvested them yet so they’re all still there. (Well, I did eat one bean. Had to taste test, after all. ). Pic soon.

Ok, here it is all trimmed and staked. And all the little dead flowers are vacuumed up. Much more tidy like this. I’m happy now.

Nice and tidy! I bet the plants are happier as well! I see good things going on under those leaves! But don't bean blossoms make a horrible mess all over the place.? That is the 1 thing I hat about growing them indoors. Yesterday I put in an order for my spring starters and i added on some prevails once again for the summer EB's...a winner and a keeper! Get the almonds ready, Mary!(or maybe the traditional mushroom soup + crunchies! LOL)...always hated that dish as a kid.

And thanks to Mike for recommending these seeds a few years ago! Indeed. Thanks Mike! And yes, there were a ton of dropped blossoms everywhere. Hand vac is a must.

I will say they are the best tasting beans. 2/3 of mine were snacked on, never cooked.

I think the plant is on the decline. Lots of yellowing leaves, and the roots look a little cooked. Well, if I end up having to terminate, at least I’ll have a needed machine free.

When the beans start bulging in the pod it means the project is at its end.(or the tough beans are, anyway)Nice project, though.

If you leave enough stem, choi will reproduce. I don't think beans will do that.

With my outside Prevails, when the flowers come followed by beans , usually after I have picked all the beans the leaves start to brown up and the plants are finished. I stagger them so I have plants growing and plants dying in the same box. I have never seen them start over again or get more flowers in the EB. I can't speak to the AG because I cut them down after 1 harvest.
