This morning I planted the 12-pod Bok Choi kit on the left side of my Farm Plus.

The Bok Choi is for salads. My favorite greens.

I am having a problem with the low water sensor on this side of the Farm. It keeps reading low water. The sensor float isn't stuck. Anyone have any ideas?

Had the same issue last year with a Harvest. That's all mine would read too so I got on the phone and chatted with AG and they sent me a new machine after I completely disassembled and cleaned the sensor... twice while on the phone. That was my experience.

I remember reading somewhere that the sensor was upside down. I do not know if that is possible in the farm however. Also make sure no roots are in the sensor area.

This looks like a great project. Any follow up on the sensor?

No, I will just make sure it is topped off, often. I will double check when the project is complete. I completely disassembled and cleaned it prior to use. The float is plastic on one side and metal on the other. I can see the plastic side so I know it is in correctly.

An inconvenience, but you are a veteran AGer and know when to top off.Not a big enough problem to pack up and ship the whole shebang back IMO (that is a big production in this day and age), but an inconvenience nevertheless. However, it would be nice to get what we paid for.

It's way beyond warranty, anyway. The funny thing is, I still have the box in storage.
Positive note, 10 of 12 pods have visible plants. One of the two that don't bothers me. I cant see any seeds in the sponge. Hopefully they are deep enough I just can't see them.

AG told me to use the box the new machine will come in. Yes, they shipped me the replacement machine first so I could ship the bad machine back to them using the proper box. FWIW

How many plants per pod do you think I should thin these down to?
