My mature cherry tomatoes seem to have a few small 1/32" long green looking winged creatures crawling and flying around. No damage to tomatoes as yet but don't want to wait and see. Any hints and remedies?

Do they look like this? If so - those are aphids. I've had good luck just rinsing them off & spraying the plant with some garlic water to keep them away.

Hard to tell they are so tiny. At first, I just thought they were those pesky little ants that you find around here but then I discovered they also fly. I will follow you lead and see. . . can't hurt. Thanks.

Joe, my guess is that they might be tomato leaf hoppers. They don't sound like aphids to me. If they are leafhoppers, they can cause a curly top tomato virus disease.
You can try to kill them with diatomaceous earth or insecticidal soap.
