Shishito

I am a beginner grower. My herbs that came with my bounty are doing rather well. I would like to plant Shishito next. Can I plant my Shishito and also tomatoes together. I bought three pepper pods.

Hello and Welcome. You can grow peppers and tomatoes together however in the Bounty I personally suggest only planting one of each. They will get full. I know they say you can plant more but I think air flow is important as well. This is just my personal preference. You can plant only one pod and save the others for future gardens too. Why not take a look at the Member Gardens and see what others are growing so you get an idea of how they will fill out. ASFx has grown them and had three in his garden. I do not know if he transplanted them or not. Do a search for that pepper. Please see what others also have to say  |
