If you decide to write them off and don't need to immediately reuse the plastic pods, you can move them to a small cup/glass/bowl of water and let them germinate in there. |

I'm sure they'll pull through, but the pods look nasty from the algae and everything else growing on them. I don't think I'll grow lavender in an AG again, just for that reason.
Added 4ml of nutes.

but I love the lavender. Can you smell the fragrance when you pinch those leaves ? I love that aroma! The downfall in growing Lav in the AG is that in order to smell the fragrance one has to brush the leaves or the flowers to get it. It doesn't diffuse. I suppose one could make some kind of dried leaves sachet for a drawer or an oil diffuser mixture, though which would be nice..a lot of work, but nice.

I really like the smell of lavender, but I think I'm going to grow it in soil from now on. It just takes too long to germinate.
