I am afraid they are going to overwhelm the Bounty. I'll just keep cutting the tops off and see what happens!

If they are bush beans, they will definitely fit. Order some chop sticks from ebay for a couple bucks for a huge pack and lash some together with gardening wire or twisty ties as they grow upward and use them as supports as you raise the hood . You can lash 3 together and it will fit. I am going to do that.

The upside down bean I rescued does not look healthy. Its stem is browner than the picture shows and it doesn't seem to be recovering as fast as I'd like.
So I will replant that pod today.
In fact, none of the beans look really healthy. Some of then are yellowing (which also doesn't show up well in the photo). So I tweaked the nutrients this morning, and we'll see what happens.

They are growing.
Instead of ordering chopsticks for support, I used the bamboo skewers I had on hand. it will soon be time to wire on extensions.
I removed one big bean leaf so light could reach the little replant.

The hood of my Bounty is fully extended, and beans are growing over the top of the machine.
I am planning to top the plants right above the last set of leaves under the hood.
Is that a good idea? Any suggestions?
