Your gardens look so good, Paul .
And reading about how you use them is more interesting and entertaining than many professional food articles! I love reading your comments!
Thank you Sher!

I love all the ways you are using your herbs. I need to get more creative with mine. Thank you so much Shawn! I can easily write an essay on my inspirations but I'll save you all from that long-winded rabbit hole journey! I hope to publish a recipe book some day. Been working on it for years but it is a daunting task. What really pushes me are the compliments - like yours today! When I make hot sauce I always make a few gift bottles which usually go to a couple of my son's friends and our neighbors who so generously share their home grown Habanero peppers with us. I once got a phone call from one of my son's friends telling me he loved the Cayenne and Habanero sauces but had to report someone actually drank one of the bottles it was so good! Thanks again Shawn! The support of this forum is like none other I've found, truly a wonderful community!

That sounds like a must grow, Paul! Sher the lemon basil's aroma is out of this world! I'm making cayenne sauce today and will be adding this to the recipe. I'll post my results when done.

Mine too! I just got the AG International Basil kit and it includes the Lemon Basil. Will start it in the fall.

Happy Monday Eve! Couple quick snaps - Oregano, Dill, Sage, and Rosemary hiding in the back; Cilantro, Lemon Basil (YUM!), Regrown Green Onion (harvested some earlier today for pickle juice so they're short now), and Chives; Geno Basil and some sad looking parsley; I recently thawed some of the herbs I had vacuum sealed and froze. Did not work out as I had hoped - going forward I'll being drying and grinding for the seasoning/spice rack. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the Summer!!

So glad to see you again, Paul, and catch up on your projects. I'm glad to hear that you have discovered the herb preservation method that works best for you.
And sorry about the parsley.

Thank you Sher! The parsley is pretty resilient - I'll trim that basil way back so I can lower the light and should be able to revive it.

How do all? Hope all ya'll (that's more than 5 ) are doing fantastic! So it was cleaning time at the zoo this morning (what else do you do on a Saturday morning when you wake up at 5am and can't fall back asleep?) Here are a couple random pics; Rosemary, Sage, Oregano and Dill all living in harmony - although I have to keep the Sage in line as it keeps trying to push the Rosemary out of the bed. Lemon Basil, Chives, and regrown green onions doing well. The cilantro didn't fair well (now absent in the Harvest 2019) - I got three harvests out of it though and take the blame for it's early demise likely due to aggressive pruning. And behind door number three we have a brand new car! ahem. Started Heirloom Cherry toms this morning in the second 360. The parsley couldn't compete for light with the Basil (apparently there is no Frankenstein in my genetics so I couldn't bring it back to life as previously suggested ).

Your gardens look so well-kempt now!
Sorry you lost the cilantro.
And your dill photo is a work of art!
Thank you for your photos. I really look forward to seeing them.
The very best of luck with the tomatoes!

Update pics - today we have the "long-hair hippy" look I usually keep everything trimmed up but decided to let it all hang out - I'll be trimming things up over the weekend but thought I'd share these first. Heirloom cherries are coming along as hoped. Last feeding I upped the nutes to two capfuls.

Paul, the hippie herb reference tickled me.
Your tomatoes look healthy and happy. Here's wishing you lots of fun growing them, and a big harvest!

Good morning! Thought I'd share a couple update photos; Oregano, Sage, and Rosemary - the Dill flowered on me which led to it's demise. I'll be more vigilant going forward. Chives and Lemon Basil - can't get enough of this with baked potatoes and fish - also need to pop a couple Scallions in there this weekend. Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes doing well. New addition to the garden- Have Mega Cherry Tomatoes in the back, middle left is a Lime Basil, front left Cilantro, and two Dill front right. Odd combo due to tomatoes needing a bit more nutrient. We'll see how it goes. The group pic;

Thought I'd add some "this and that" as it relates to the Farm 12xl; And on with the "this"; The Farm was delivered last Saturday the 4th without issue but also without notice from Aerogarden. Not that this was a bad thing, but Aerogarden had not sent any shipping details and did not respond to two emails I sent inquiring about the order. I've purchased directly from Aerogarden as well as on Amz for seed pods, nutes, and the Harvests I have. In the past Aerogarden sent an email notifying me my order had been shipped, and we all know how spot on Amz is "most of the time". When I unpacked the Farm I was giddy! My wife was laughing with me - 57 year old kid on Christmas morning she kidded. So I've got the boxes unpacked in "the garden room/art room", all the pieces parts separated and laid out for assembly on my rolling workbench, a little CSN&Y playing in the background. I've already downloaded the install and operation manuals and read them a few times so I'm set and psyched!
Got the top unit on an old towel on my rolling work bench, right side bracket installed;
---brooding music is heard, Toccata and Fugue with a little theme from Jaws behind it--- Time to install the left side bracket; DOH! I'm glad my wife was NOT within earshot when that pic was taken. The Farm was shipped with two RIGHT side metal frames. Aerogarden did make it right and I had the replacement yesterday - all set up as you see in the post before this one. They included a box of Mega Cherry Tomatoes for the trouble (they asked when I was in chat which was nice of them). And the "thats"; I primarily use my PC for everything online. It's set up with my home theater and big screen so I do very little on my handheld device as it relates to managing accounts and/or email. Having said that; If you're trying to chat with Aerogarden from your PC, make sure you don't have a pop-up blocker like Ghostery running as this will prevent the "chat" cloud from opening. The App for Android remains problematic. I tried using my existing account to sign in which failed. I also tried to create a new account through the app using a different email and 16 hours later am still awaiting the "code" to complete creating the account to arrive in my alternate email account. Boooo! Other than those hiccups so far so good. I'd really like to be able to use the app though....I guess more than anything just so I have an app to use on my phone besides the Wyze Cam app LOL. Peace
