My second attempt looks better so far.
Let's hope it produces cucumbers this time.

It has tendrils. I will make up a trellis as I go along. For now, it has the green bungee.
I think I need to add a tiny bit more nutrients.

It got too crowded in the grow tent. The cucumber was trying to attach to chard, lettuce and a power cord.
I moved it to a Bounty. Thread soon to follow.
I got a hint of why the earlier cucumber might not have matured fruit. I was so afraid of over fertilizing it that I was starving it to death.
I hope this one adjusts to its new home.

I finally received my mini munch seeds and I'm ready to give it a try.
Any suggestions before I get started?

That sounds like a question for @cornne, who has grown several successful cucumber projects.
I am simply crossing my fingers that my current project will produce mature cucumbers!

What nutrients are you using in your Kratky set-ups, Sher? Hope it does better in the Bounty!

It is doing bettrr in the Bounty, clumsythumbs. I started it in Kratky with DynaGrow Bloom becsuse I read that cucumbers need a lot more potassium than nitrogen and the Bloom nutrients provide that.
I continued that in the Bounty but it was getting too yellow green so I added a couple of ml of Aerogarden nutrients and a tiny amount of magnesium (epsom salts) to green it up. Corrine said that cucumbers hate calmag. I also read that too much calcium creates nutrient lockout in cucumbers.
It is still more yellow green than I would like, so I may change things up and use mostly AG nutrients when I do an R&R.

Gotcha. That is all very good to know. I always get a little overwhelmed when trying to figure out the specific needs of certain vegetables...hence why I have stuck with AG nutes, but then I know with some projects they need some additions. I guess that is the fun (experimenting) but the scholar in me always wants to be sure and know Will be following your progress!
