Decided to try growing pequins from a plant that my parents gave me a couple years ago and is starting to look a bit sad. I want to keep him going!! So I left some peppers on the plant to dry, and decided this morning that they looked ready!! Turns out I only needed 1 instead of 3, it was FULL of seed when I broke it open: I filled all 6 pods for my Harvest with just the 1 chile, with plenty left over to save! Fingers crossed that at least one germinates! If by some miracle all 6 take, I'll move some to pots to give away, my parents for sure will want a couple and there a couple folks at work who would love to give a pequin a spot in their house!

I've got germination on all three in the front row!! Couldn't quite tell on the back row yet, didn't want to lift the pods out just to peek lol. But I've got a good feeling!

Added 4 mL nutrients, and after snapping the photo got a rag and wiped off that gross nutrient build-up lol

Grew nicely, just got some brown crud to clean off the deck today!! Soon it'll be time to move these into pots.

I thought I hit enter but I guess I did not. I believe that brown crusting is from the nutes.

Transplanted all but 1 of the pequins so I could start some greens in this harvest!
