Machine: Bounty Basic Seeds: Nasturtium Variety: Dwarf Jewel Mix Vendor: Baker Creek
Seeds per Pod: 1 Sponges: Park Seed
These will have plenty of room to sprawl where this machine is. I don't know if the dwarfs climb, but a trellis is available, just in case.

I decided to add a Black Susan vine to climb the trellis. It will need supplemental lighting.
I will wait until I see what colors the flowers are, then choose which nasturtium to keep.
It will be a crowded Bounty, but they are all light feeders, so maybe the roots won't be massive.

I am interested in seeing the Nasturtium grow. We had a GAL a while back that I had supplied all the seeds but they were all a bust. I had tons of leaves but no flowers. Different vendor and different variety of course.

I hope these turn out. I have never grown them before because our summers are too hot and humid for them.
I read that they like poor soil and that too much fetilizer, especially nitrogen, will make them grow all leaves and no flowers. So I will try to figure out what to do with them.

Not a hint of germnation yet. I'll give them 21 days. If they are not up by then, I'll move on to something else.

It has been 3 weeks. Nasturtiums are supposed to be up in one or two weeks depending on how the seeds were prepared.
And the Black Eyed Susan vine takes "a long time" to germinate. I didn't realize that when I planted it.
So I plan to clean the Bounty today and put Bright Lights Swiss Chard in it instead.

I am getting frustrated with my flowers too. I will post them in my garden in a bit.

My flower seeds from Seeds 'n Such are taking forever to ship. When they get here, I am planning to put Celosia Coxcomb in my new Harvest Elite.
