Machine: Harvest Seeds: Alyssum Variety: Pastel Carpet Vendor: Ferry Morse Pods: Park Seed Seeds per Pod: 5 Will be using Aerogarden nutrients.
These are seeds I bought when I first started Aerogardening. Since they are Ferry Morse seeds, I have my fingers crossed that they germinate and will really be mixed colors.
Pictures when something happens!

All of the alyssum are up except for one dud pod.
Today they are due for fresh nutrients, so I will transplant a couple of extras from the other pods into the empty one.

The little alyssum are well on their way. The extra seedlings I transplanted into the empty pod are alive, but very slow growing. They must not like being moved.

The little alyssum seem to have beaten the bugs and are beginning to flower. So far, all I see is white.

So far they still look all white to me. I'm hoping a pop of color will surprise me.

That is the one thing with mixed color seed packets, you never know what color you are going to get.

Now that they are getting more flowers I can see the colors better. It looks like I have 3 pinks and 3 whites.
I have never grown alyssum before. Is it normal for it to be a little floppy and messy looking?
Or is it the Ferry Morse seeds?

It is the Ferry Morse seeds.
I just took a look at Shawn's project here. They are compact little beauties with flowers in the center.
I am so disappointed with the way mine are sprawling.
No more Ferry Morse seeds for me again ever!

I get mine from Renees for this flower. I may have seeds, if you need let me know I can place them in the mail, once we get plowed out

Thanks, Shawn, but I will just move onto something else in my seed stash.
This is my third disaster using Ferry Morse seed. I will probably terminate this weed patch.
