Has anyone tried growing Mexican Tarragon ? Good, bad, other? Yes, I get that it isn't "really" Tarragon. I do like Tarragon for salads and things. And I do use a Tarragon infused Vinegar in a few recipes too. Just considering it. Planning ahead for future adventures!

I hadn't heard of it, so I did a quick search around the internet. It looks like it grows up to 24 inches. So it might be suited for a bounty or farm. Though the basil that come in the kits can get big, and folks keep them in harvests by staying on top of trimming them.
Let us know if you decide to grow it!

I've got it in my cart...under consideration!

There is one dish I used to make that used Tarragon. I loved it, Mark not so much so I never attempted to grow.

I think that will be "real" Tarragon, but should be similar. Just to try in new ways, to see what we think. Just need to keep meals interesting so we keep on the healthy side? Thanks for the input!

I've grown it outside, and am considering it for the a.g. It's pretty, and has a nice tarragon-like scent. I've found it goes well with egg and potato dishes.
But: it is not tarragon. I tried making a béarnaise sauce & it just wasn't quite right.
In Mexico it's known as pericón, and mostly what I see online on Spanish-language sites discuss its use as an herbal infusion.
