Here is a question for mike other Pepper growers.
As you know the large machines after the initial germination mode, the pump would run 27/7. Then at some point it changed to run 60 mins On/60 mins off.
I just noticed that my pepper plants are running the 60/60. Should that be changed to 24/7? What do you think the ideal timing for the pump to run?

What day are you on? I am at day 69 with my peppers and the pump is still running 24/7.

Every time I check mine is running. But I really don't pay it much attention.

I am months in... I just realized today the pump settings and was wondering.
I may change it to 24/7 and see if they grow better or worse or the same.
I was just wondering what you all thought.

Per Aerogarden website the pump setting for peppers for in growth stage is 24/7, well they say pump on 60 pump off 0

Thank you. Yes that is the standard. I was just curious as to what others do opposed to how my units were set. I have played with and changed pump run times for many projects depending on what I was growing and how they did.

The only problem I have seen from personal experience is...... if your plants have fully and I mean fully blown up in stem growth and root development to the extent that the drip, drip of the AG system clogs and leads to water on the deck.... then just turn off the pump and operate as a DWC or Kratky for the remainder of the grow. Message me if you don't get this and or need help.
