I decided to make tea with all the extra Thai basil leaves and it turned out great! My Thai basil has been bolting for months and grows over the lights pretty often. I used the flowers and the leaves, filled up a soup mug with them, added two slices of fresh ginger and poured boiling water over them, capped with a silicon pot cover for 10 minutes. A squeeze of lime from my back yard tree brightened it all up and it tasted good. I later tried with Genovese basil with good results. I added a few chopped chives to make it a bit savory the next time. Day 293 with my Bounty Elite Artisan.

I am intrigued by the idea of making tea with basil! Especially the licorice tasting Thai basil.
You are apparently getting your money's worth out of your Aerogarden! Thanks for the updates.
