Still waiting for the stupid pellets to melt open.

Try holding the sponge under a faucet for a few minutes.
I have done that to speed things up.
I don't know if it helped, but it made me feel better!

I THINK the coating is starting to dissolve.

Two of the pelleted seeds have life, two look like they will be opening and two nothing that I can see yet.

One pod has germinated. A couple look like they are about to and others are still softening. One reason I do not like pelleted.

I think pelleted seeds are designed to break open during heavy rainfall. I've had some success with soaking pelleted seeds for 15-60 minutes to dissolve the coating, but I definitely prefer purchasing normal seeds.

I know one pod has tiny seedlings. I have to check later if the others have any life at all. If not I may end this and start something else.
As for soaking these, I have heard the seeds are so small that soaking may not be a good idea.

Nothing is happening in any of the 5 pods. So I will be ending this one to start something else.

I love fast germinating flowers.
I don't mind the slow violas this time since the gazanias and celosia are up.
Hope you find something to replant that will delight you!
