It's finally starting to warm up in my neck of the woods and it looks like my crocuses have started to bloom!
Planted these a couple years ago. Looks like they self-seeded and started to expand the patch.
Anything early flowers blooming where you live?

Those crocuses, along with the other tiny blooming, fragrant spring bulbs, are the sweetest, most welcome flowers of all to me.
My daffofils have been up for a while, but that is all.

Theses are pretty. In the last house we owned we had them all over. They did brighten the area.

Oh, I'm jealous! Our crocuses are up, but no flowers yet. We do have a few daffodils blooming. They are all over the hills up here. Mikey and I were just talking about them a couple of days back. Wondering who planted them and when. Sadly, our neighbor that probably could answer that has passed away. Sigh. Whenever I see daffodils, I think of a neighbor at my last house in California. She's RIP too, but boy, did she love her daffodils. She had so many in the flower bed that bordered our yard! So pretty.
This house has many bulb type plants in the yard. The previous owner and her mom loved to plant them and share them. When her mom passed and she told me the stories, I made sure she came to dig some up to have at her house.

I have pansies coming up no-where near the area that I planted them a couple years back. I blame birds! They're in an elevated bed with my garlic and cilantro:

They are sweet little flowers, too, with their little whiskered faces!
We had them go wild for a few yesrs too, but then they died out. I miss them!
I guess our birds weren't doing their iob.
(Arghhhhh. Awful, unintentional pun!)

All the pretty flowers.
I tried planting some when we first moved here but the animals ate them up.
