I am back.. kinda. I may only be able to type with one hand and not be able to lift but I am doing everything else I can.
My chives needs to be cut again. I will have Mark do that in the morning. Piper is at my side at every moment. LOL she sleeps with me on the couch. I dont worry about tossing or getting my arm hit. But se is more comfy then me.
Anyway, I hope everyones gardens are doing good. Give me stuff to read since I cant post much

Welcome back!
Glad Piper is taking good care of you.
I'd love to post more, but everything is in the seedling or do-nothing intermediate stage.
Gazanias are starting to bloom, but they are in the unattractive, spindly, not yet open stage.
I'll tell them to hurry up!

Welcome back, Shawn! Glad you are up for reading some AGA stuff! We just finished lunch and had our very first AG cherry tomatoes!!! They are very excellent! They taste like TOMATOES!! Woohoo! There's a concept, huh? I put them on our Sorta-Copycat Pita Pit sandwiches. Of course, there was AG lettuce too...and some chopped AG parsley and AG basil too. Yummy stuff! It is funny how our pups feel it is there "job" to watch over us when we are feeling less than normal? God Bless them! They are so precious. The last time I was really, really sick was Thanksgiving week, 2011. My dear, sweet Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Phoebe, (RIP) spent that week at my feet, except for potty and meal breaks. Then right back to bed and keeping my feet warm. It was a great comfort as we were living in the RV on the Lewis river...and it was a very cold winter!! See picture below. Not the RV bed, but Phoebe, warming up my foot spot on our bed...

I am so tired of my arm in a sling. My upper arm and elbow hurt. I finally took it off to do some stuff around te house. Hey they want me moving my fingers, I am not lifing anything heavier then a towel. My hand and fingers are so bruised. I tried to get a picture but I can not get a good shot of it. Between the lighting in the house and the flash, they wash out the bruising. She here is a washed out picture. Imagine it more bruised the shown. You can see the difference in each picture on how I can not get a good consistent true shot
There are two separate incisions. Once to correct the carpal boss and hte other was to clean out two compartments (Tendon Releases). I will finally see the results on Friday when I go in for my post op.

#1 - Love the nail polish! It looks similar to one of my favorites called something like Flamingo? #2 - One of my new favorites for pain relief is called "Recovery" from ceres-garden - it is a wonderful discovery...if you have CBD stuff around? It just goes on & feels like pretty much nothing and a bit later, pain is just gone. Pleasant, light, clean smell. My other favorite is Salonpas, patch, lidocaine spray, roll-on, etc. I keep all of the options on hand. Although it has a slight oder, it isn't too bad & it does give relief. I mention these in case you want to try something for the sling issues? Keeping good thoughts for the best possible outcome on Friday! Leaving shortly to take Mikey for catscan. No dogscan, just the cats.

#1 - Love the nail polish! It looks similar to one of my favorites called something like Flamingo? Thanks, I have had that color and got tired of many years of it. Still nice but just tired. I need to see what it is called. I have over 50 colors. I do my own Gels. I used to have clients but stopped a couple years ago. #2 - One of my new favorites for pain relief is called "Recovery" from ceres-garden - it is a wonderful discovery...if you have CBD stuff around? My other favorite is Salonpas, patch, lidocaine spray, roll-on, etc. I keep all of the options on hand. Although it has a slight oder, it isn't too bad & it does give relief. I have tried the salonpas and other items but they do not work for me. Having such a high pain level the doctors seems to think that is why. Hey pain pills do nothing. I have been dealing with severe pain since 2003. Tried it all.I mention these in case you want to try something for the sling issues? Keeping good thoughts for the best possible outcome on Friday! Oh, dear & I do understand about the pain pills. There are very few that work for us too. I'm told we just don't have the "receptors" for them, so they don't work. Keeping you in thoughts & prayers!

I go to the surgeon today. Getting stitches out YAY Not excited about all the pinches of thread being pulled out. I have to take some before and afters of both incisions. However I know I will need PT. Stiffness and some pain still there. I will also have a brace I think.
We shall see.

Ok Stitches are out! YAY!. Hand still very sore and stiff. But I was surprised to see only one incision. When I asked why he did not do the second procedure, he told me that he was able to do it all thru the one incision which I was thrilled about. He said that yes I most likely "felt" two because there was work done in the area of which another one would have been. I still can not submerge it but I can shower without it being covered. I can do more but not lift anything heavy. He told me what he wants me to do at home so no PT. He wants me moving it so no brace. I still must be very careful still. I see him again in 4 weeks. I am very happy with the appearance of it thus far even if still bruised and a tad swollen. BUT, I can type again so I am back
