I received these seeds through the Seed Savers Exchange's ADAPT 2021 program.
Placed four seeds in an Oasis Horticube eS and placed it into a glass of water, no nutes added yet.
Beautiful, large and vigorous Batavia type lettuce with bright green leaves and a burgundy blush. This variety came to us from Brugsen seed company in Denmark. The name translates from Danish into "chicken salad," a classic Danish open-faced sandwich with chicken, mayonnaise, lettuce, and other ingredients served on Danish rye bread.
