It's been a busy few days. I moved the tomato garden to make room for a second greens tote. I terminated and cleaned the old greens tote. I took down the Apollo LED and replaced it with a Roleadro LED Grow Light. I havent stabilized it yet. (any suggestions? I think I'm going to use twine.)
Yesterday, I turned 61. I feel every minute. And my blood sugar is giving me fits.
Here on the right, I started a new Burpee Joi Choi tote.
In a half hour, I'm going to my friends house to take more flower pics. Well, that's enough for now.

This weekend I will trim them down to two per pod. Next week, I will choose which one will be the one. Meanwhile, I will take daily pics for a week or so. I'm actually studying the initial stages to see if something can be done to give them their best chance at success. I want to do that with peppers, too. But I'm waiting until Fall before I start that.

I will be interested in your studies. And in the Fall if you want a partner (to help take pics) let me know and I will select some peppers and grow with you and take pictures and save data for you ... if you want extra data.

I waited until today to thin the choi. They didn't like it much, either. I have a few of those laying on the deck, too. I over chopped one pod, leaving only one remaining plant. Dog gone my clumsy hands.

Dog gone my clumsy hands. Do you use tweezers or something to grab them? I find that the pointed ones from a set I got at Target, similar to these are helpful for me. Instead of my fingers, I can pinpoint just the one I want. Before these, I messed up more than a few and had to wait longer to be able to grab the right one. Still, it isn't as simple a task as it seems like it should be! I sympathize!

I have narrow pointed cutters and angled tweezers for grabbing.

These are recovering after thinning them. I now think I will wait a full two weeks before thinning in the future.

Added 42 ml Growth Technology Ionic Grow nutrients today. They aren't due until Sunday, but I'm not happy with their progress.
