Cool! I've been using a mechanical timer to control the grow light over the greens gardens. It always irked me that the best I could do with the mechanical timer was within about 6 minutes. When the rest of my lights go off at 9:30pm, I wanted them all to go off at 9:30pm. But the mechanical would turn off at 9:36pm.
I've been converting to a smart home using Alexa to make things easier. This morning I set up a new smart plug for the grow light. I added a schedule for it to turn on and off when I want it to. I really like these smart devices. All my lights are smart lights, now.

The majority of ours are also Mike. Love it except for when there is a power failure. Thankfully the backup generator kicks on and they work again.

I am combining these greens with the sprouts and they have really been helping with my low-carb diet. They help keep me full. It's amazing that greens and sprouts would do that. Amazing.  |
