I only have older models of aero gardens, and I’m wondering how I could turn them into micro green growers.
I would buy the kit, but it’s out of stock. Can any of you give me an idea of what’s involved? Then I’ll try to hack my own micro greens in my AGs and will let you know what I find.

Good to see you again, happy. There are loads of videos on youtube showing how to grow microgreens. I know Mike van Duzee (sp) has grown microgreens Kratky style, as well as in soil.

Hello Happy, very nice to see you. I do not have the microgreens add on but I think someone was going to get one.

There are lots of places that sell the more traditional microgreens growing kits. My hubby got this one. We also got a grow light from Aerogarden...but maybe you could remove your bowl(s) and use the lights you have on your AGs? Hubby got the "mat" kind of thing. It grew quickly, but became smelly. Just saying, so you know. You might consider waiting for the AG Harvest Kit to be available again? They usually are not out of stock for too long? Good luck!

I don't know on an AG. I just started some Mung Bean and Broccoli sprouts in Mason jars today. The seeds are soaking right now. Tomorrow morning, I will drain the water and rinse and drain. I will continue that for the next week or so. We'll see, I've never done this before.
