One of my older Bountys (3 years old) died last night. We had a power disturbance.
It didn't hurt the Bounty Basic, but the Bounty is toes up.

Oh, dear! I'm so sorry! We've considered having one of those "whole house" surge protectors done, but haven't gotten a round-tuit yet. Most of our sensitive equipment has a protector...didn't occur to me that the AGs might need it too.
So sorry for your Bounty. Have you tried changing the power supply? Just on the chance that might be the extent of the damage?

We have a whole house generator however that does not help with the surges, so we have a few cpu backups with the surge in them. I will say in the 20 seconds it takes to turn the generator on those have helped us a lot.

Figures, huh?
Yep, I've tried other power sources, checked breakers, etc.
No big deal. That just means I'm down to 11 AGs, two AG bowls that I can use with airstones and LED panels and the totes.
I have decided to get rid of my rain towers, as I prefer totes. I was actually getting more systems than I wanted to have to maintain!
