And then there were three. I go rid of the runt here today. I was never going to allow more than three plants, anyway. These plants can get bigger. I moved the largest plant from the rear center to the left. I want the best plants on the outside in case I need to remove the center plant to alleviate crowding. I plan on making a hot pepper jelly with these. These are probably the hottest peppers I am growing this year. I made them into a lemon yellow jam in 2017. It was delicious, but one of the two plants died, and I didn't have a great yield.

I made a change here today. I moved the larges Aji Lemon plant from the left side to the right side. The Yummy pepper plants are getting so large already, the right Yummy plant was almost touching the largest Aji Lemon I had on the left. I also moved the plant on the left over one hole to keep them further apart. This is getting interesting.

These are all looking healthy. The right plant is doing great. The left plant is doing terrific despite my damaging one of the cotyledon leaves after germination. The center plant is small, but it germinated 8 days after the other two. It looks nice and healthy. Added 24 ml Nutes, 20 ml Mooch.

I'd say it was an odd-ball. But all three plants have them in the same place. The plants all branch into 3 branches about 8 inches off the deck. These "Sentries" grow straight up from the 'Y".

Here's the first pepper. Wouldn't you know it has a defect. It's the right circle, above.

I'm looking forward to these, These are the hottest of the peppers growing. The batch I grew in 2016 I swore were as hot as habaneros. The ones in 2017 weren't quite as hot, but they made a hot jam that really made my grilled chicken something special. The first priority with each of the hot peppers is hot sauce this year. I also want to make a special pepper mayo from scratch.

Bad news here. The blooms and pepper have yellowed and fallen off. It is nute day. I may pick up some bloom nutes tomorrow.
Added 24 ml Nutes, 20 ml Mooch

Oh, dear! Here's hoping that the nutes and/or bloom food do the trick!
