June 30, 2021 My AeroGarden Harvest Elite arrived today. I plan to use it to grow small herbs like rosemary, thyme, mint, oregano, chives and sage. I ordered a batch of seed pods from AeroGarden, but I'm going to get started with the four I plan to use... mint, thyme, thai basil and genovese basil. (The basils will be moved to another AeroGarden when the rosemary, oregano, chives and sage arrive.)

July 5, 2021 The Bounty Elite and special order herb pods arrived, so I shifted the genovese basil and thai basil over to the Bounty, and started off the rosemary, oregano, chives and sage. That fills all six holes. Now to just sit back and wait. The two AeroGardens are pooling their light.

Seedlings spotted down inside almost all of the pods. The only ones that are still sleeping are chives and sage.

Chives are popping up now. No sign of sage yet. Added my plant food. Is there any way to add food with a hypodermic or something. Filling the cap and getting it to the little door ends up spilling. Is there something made for this that measures?

There is a thread " Measuring Nutrients" in the Nutrient & Supplement Board regarding this very topic.

How much is a capful? That might help me figure out what kind of syringe I need.

I have no clue but check the "Nutrients (AG and Other Brands) AND Mr. Mucha Stash Guide" thread.

Sage is popping up now. All the pods germinated. I ordered a little baby medicine syringe at Amazon. Hopefully it fits in the bottle.

My Aerovoirs arrived. They fit well on the table with my AGs. Although everything has germinated, three herbs (sage, rosemary and oregano) still have cups on them. They are lagging behind. Rosemary has gotten to the surface, so it should zoom forward soon. When all the cups are off, I'll post a picture.

The sage, rosemary and oregano have sprouted but they are growing slow. Still in their baby cups. The rest is doing well.

Today I changed the water and added new plant food. The left side of the garden is doing better than the right side. Mint is doing well, and thyme has several stalks with beautiful leaves with purple underneath them. I have several nice long spears of chives, but it's going to be a while until I can harvest anything. The rosemary and oregano are growing, but very slowly. It took several weeks to take the cup off, but they are starting to grow now. The sage was DOA. I thought I saw some life in there, but it was just mold or something. I'm going to pick a new pod to replace it tomorrow.

Rosemary is a very slow grower. Thyme, all mine always have the purple underneath. There are some varieties that do not but most do.

For chives, I've had better luck with the cut and grow again method, or whatever it is called. I just top it and leave it to grow taller again. Instead of harvesting whole leaves? So to speak?

The mint is getting evicted. It grew very fast and started crowding out the other plants, so I chopped it down to 1/3 its size. It didn't phase it a bit. It started growing back the first day. I'm going to chuck it out into the garden and let it fend for itself there. I have some other herbs I want to try instead.

I've had a Chocolate Mint plant in front of the garage for years. I planted it to fill in and use as some ground cover. It dies back in the winter & then come back with a vengeance. I understand that rodents don't care for mint, and it does look pretty. I call that a win-win!

August 13, 2021 The herb garden got two more pods today... tarragon and marjoram. They replace the sage that never sprouted and the mint that outgrew its welcome. Everything else is doing OK. Rosemary is doing quite well. Chives and oregano could use a little beefing up.

My gardens were five days out of sync with each other, so for the last few water and food tendings, I've dawdled a couple of days on the herb garden to put them on the same schedule. Sunday I was able to get both in sync for a feeding.
The oregano has grown up to the light now and is looking a bit leggy. Gonna give it a haircut this week. The thyme is doing fantastic. Going to chop it back a little too.
