Very nice. I’m getting ready to plant my first Sprout. Have you done a Sprout before?

These are my first Aerogardens ever. The lack of screen was disconcerting, but they are pretty simple- just plug it in at the time you want the light to come on. One thing that is driving me crazy is there is some kind of vibration going on that is loud. At least compared to the other machines. If can figure out where it is coming from I'm going to add some padding.

Maybe then you can locate the exact point of vibration

They are both doing it, which is why I think it is something to do with the construction- or maybe my counter isn't quite level or something. Who knows? I was messing around a bit late last night and it does seems to be the bowl vibrating against the stand, so a little bit of a cushion at the right spot should do wonders.

I’ll have to see if mine does it too. I haven’t even opened the box yet.

I've had to trim a couple chive shoots, but the thyme is up and the oregano is starting to peak out. The dill has required some pretty heavy pruning. Thai basil is just barely up, and basil has been topped once.

Dill will get huge. You’ll have to prune regularly even when you have no use for it and just toss it. It will be better for the plant.

Wow, your dill has really taken off! I have dill and basil growing in a Bounty, and all 3 basils are taller than the dill... though it's starting to catch up to them.

Don't forget to prune the Basil when it is ready. There are videos in the Herb Section

Your basil and dill are well suited to each other in the same garden - they’re both the biggest and fastest growers. (Except for mint, but that’s fast and low, not high.) I second Shawn regarding pruning the basil. Almost more important than keeping the dill in check, but easier. I’m jealous of you guys, I have no herbs at the right age yet to enjoy.

I'm extremely sensative to sound and the Sprouts are just too loud for me, so they have been replanted with flowers and banished to the bathrooms where I can close the doors on them. The broccolinni failed, so I put the bounty bowl back in and transplanted the herbs to it. The basil had a big trim the weekend and I keep hacking away at the dill.

They look nice all together. Bummer that your Sprouts are so loud. Were they what came free with your Farms?

The Farms came with Harvests, the Sprouts came from the Bounties.
The sprouts are working out pretty nicely in the bathrooms. They may not actually be that loud- I have some unresolved trauma issues that make me hypervigilant and thus extremely sensitive to sound. The flowing water in the other types of AG's seems to be fine, just the specific bubbling noise that the Sprout makes puts me on edge.

My container of dried basil is almost full at this point- I'll freeze a decent amount then terminate the plant. I don't cook all that often, and I can use the space for something else. I'm also getting a bit of chives, plenty of dill and now sage which I use more often. I just started harvesting a little bit of the Thai basil and thyme, leaving the oregano as the last herb to make it into my dehydrator.

That looks so healthy!
The one thing about growing basil is be prepared to have way too much of it.

Beautiful garden. It’s grown a lot in the past 3 weeks.
I love your sage. Remind me, was this your own seed or an AG kit pod?

I cut all these down except the dill with I'm letting go to seed. I didn't grab a picture this time, but it has way outgrown the Ultra. However, since there are plenty of leaves below the lights, it seems happy enough with the flowers pulled out of the light area. As badly as I want the seeds, I'll be happy once everything in a three-foot radius is no longer covered in pollen.
