It came with 7 plants. A couple of them are scrawny or outright sickly. I'm hoping that now that the Basils, especially the bushy Thai have been harvested that they will get some much needed light. I did change the water and add the nutrients. I used the Basil for some home made Pesto, using chickpeas instead of pine nuts or walnuts. Both of my daughters really liked it so that counts as a big win even though my husband was unimpressed. Although he's not a big Pesto fan so I don't think that's a reflection on the recipe I used.

It looks great! Congratulations on your new garden!
If the scrawny ones don't thrive, you can just remove them to give the others room to spread out and bush out.
