Grrr. I called early this morning to ask a question and they took our whole servic down for hours and It will be going down again. SO I will check in from my phoe. I shall hopefully be back later this afternoon.

Oh, no! I hate when that happens.
Can you use your phone as a hot spot?
Since we like to camp, I have a dedicated hot spot thru our cell phone service. It is a cheap enough add-on, like 10 bucks a month, I think. So, when the home internet goes down, I just pull out the hot spot and use that. That way, it doesn't drop when I get a phone call coming in. It works pretty good most places, unless there is just no cell service in a dead zone. Our internet goes down often, at times. Wind can take some wires down, or sometimes construction workers do it. Other times, car accidents will take out something. Happens with our power too, and if the power is out, then no modem & that means no internet. Sigh.
Hope they fix it soon!

Everything was fixed. We call to ask a question not related to internet or phone and the rep was not knowledgeable at all. Actually he had no idea what he was doing and took us off the grid. Rebooted the router many times, disconnected us and more. I do not know how but I got up to a Level 3 tech and he finally fixed us.
I have a feeling someone got in trouble.. I bet I was not the only one this had happened to that day.
Yesterday Mark added some extra protection to our electronics to we are better safeguarded and settings are backed up etc.
