My poblano pepper seed pod has produced a lovely banana pepper! I guess this sort of thing has happened to other people. Aerogarden is sending a replacement, which I hope has poblano seeds in it--peppers take such a long time to start. The poblanos will have to wait a while, because the banana pepper is a great producer. I just harvested enough peppers for a full quart of pickled peppers. Being new to pepper growing, I didn't realize that the plant wasn't a poblano until the peppers started to turn orange. 😄 You can see that the pod is labeled as a poblano.

They look great. Yes I have had " mystery" peppers in the past.
