Good Morning Dear AeroGarden Addicts! Happy September SOIL BABIES My Summer (outside/soil) garden is slowing winding down. Harvesting Cherry tomatoes still (the early girls and mega cherries are done), cucumbers, okra, black eyed peas, stevia and lemongrass. I have several Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin plants, a cantaloupe plant and a sugar baby watermelon plant that are blooming but have not fruit. I'm in zone 7B so I'll let them continue growing until the first frost hits and see if they provide any fruit. I have planted my Fall (outside/soil) garden (about a month ago): garlic, lemon mint, shasta daisies, dill, bush green beans, chive garlic, chives, and bunching onions; under an insect blanket: collard greens, kale (vales blue scotch curled), spring rabe, spicy brown mustard greens, rainbow chard, cilantro, celery, rosemary, kohlrabi, salad bowl lettuce and little finger carrots. This is my first attempt at growing a fall garden so let's see how it turns out NEW AEROGARDEN BABIES Started today in my Bounty The Circus Characters:Ferry-Morse Mesclun (Gourmet Green Mixture) Mountain Valley Lollo Rosso Lettuce Burpee Dynamite Lettuce Burpee Red Velvet Lettuce High Mowing Bouquet Dill One tiny drop of nutrients and setting on "Lettuce"My plan is to "tame" the Dill and the let rest of the cast of characters grow, grow, grow I will name them going forward based on their performances (yes, that is my original Kratky Mega Cherry Tomato in front of the bounty! I still have two cuttings from my original Snap Dragons in Kratky in front of a window along with my newest attempt of a lavender cutting in Kratky in front of the window). Have a great weekend!
